 | Bermuda Rum Swizzle📧 Ingredients:2oz Dark Rum, 2oz Gold Rum, 2oz Fresh Orange Juice, 2oz Fresh Pineapple Juice, 1oz Fresh Lemon Juice, 2 tbsp Grenadine, 2 dashes Angostura bitters, Ice, Pineapple slice, Cherry, Orange slice |
Raise a glass to island life with Bermuda's signature drink, the Rum Swizzle. A heady mix of rum, citrus, and sweeteners, it’s a taste of Bermuda's spirit, best enjoyed at sunset. Follow our step-by-step guide to mix this island classic. And why not elevate your mixology skills? Check out our recommended mixology kit, to bring the flavor of Bermuda to your home bar.
🔢 Steps:
1. Prepare the Glass: Fill a highball glass with crushed ice to chill it.
2. Mix the Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the dark rum, gold rum, orange juice, pineapple juice, lemon juice, and grenadine.
3. Shake Well: Secure the lid on the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds to blend the ingredients thoroughly.
4. Add Bitters: Open the shaker and add two dashes of Angostura bitters.
5. Swizzle: Pour the mixture into the prepared glass. Use a swizzle stick or bar spoon to stir the drink in the glass, blending the bitters with the rest of the ingredients.
6. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a slice of pineapple and a maraschino cherry. Serve immediately.
